Legis Music Creator License Agreement

Effective Date: 11th Feb 2026

This Creator License Agreement explains how you may use music downloaded from Legis Music. It is written to be clear, practical, and creator‑focused.

By downloading or using music from Legis Music, you agree to this License.



1. What This License Is

This is a license to use music from the Legis Music library.

You are not purchasing ownership of the music.
You are purchasing the right to use it under the terms set out below.

All music remains the intellectual property of Legis Music or its licensors.



2. What You Are Allowed To Do

While you have an active Legis Music license, you may:

• Download music from the Legis Music library
• Use the music in video and audiovisual projects
• Publish those projects on supported platforms
• Monetize your content
• Create content for clients
• Run digital advertising campaigns using the music
• Use the music in commercial online content

You may use the music worldwide.

You may use the music in unlimited projects during your active license period.



3. Forever Protection

Any content that is published while your license is active remains licensed forever.

If you cancel your subscription, content that was properly created and published during your active license remains protected and does not expire.

You may not create or publish new projects using Legis Music after your license ends unless you reactivate your license.



4. Where You Can Use The Music

This license covers use in:

• YouTube
• Instagram
• TikTok
• Facebook
• X
• Vimeo
• Websites
• Podcasts
• Online courses
• Digital advertising
• Client projects
• Brand campaigns

If you require broadcast television, theatrical release, major streaming platform distribution, large‑scale out‑of‑home advertising, software or app integration, or enterprise‑level usage, a Business or Enterprise License may be required.



5. YouTube Whitelisting

To prevent automated copyright claims on YouTube, you must whitelist your YouTube channel inside your Legis Music account.

This is a one‑time setup per channel.

Failure to whitelist may result in temporary claims until resolved.



6. Client Work

You may create projects for clients under your license.

You may deliver finished projects to your clients.

Your clients may use the finished project.

The license itself remains yours and may not be transferred.

If your client requires direct access to download music, they must obtain their own license.



7. Teams and Seats

An Individual license covers one user.

Agency and Enterprise plans allow multiple approved users under one account, according to the selected plan.

Music must be used for the benefit of the license holder or their clients.

Music may not be shared outside the licensed team.



8. What You Are Not Allowed To Do

You may not:

• Use the music as standalone audio
• Upload the music to Spotify, Apple Music, or other streaming services
• Distribute the music as a standalone track
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the music
• Claim ownership of the music
• Register the music in Content ID systems as your own
• Use the music to build or operate a competing music library
• Include the music in stock platforms or resale marketplaces

The music must always be part of a larger creative project.



9. AI and Editing Tools

You may use Legis Music tracks within editing software and AI‑assisted creative workflows.

You may not:

• Use the music to train AI models
• Upload the music into AI systems that claim ownership of outputs
• Generate derivative music libraries based on Legis Music tracks

All music remains protected intellectual property.



10. Ownership and Intellectual Property

All music remains the property of Legis Music and its licensors.

This license grants usage rights only.

You may not register trademarks, logos, or other exclusive rights incorporating Legis Music tracks.



11. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the music in projects that:

• Violate applicable laws
• Promote hate, discrimination, or violence
• Contain unlawful content
• Infringe the rights of third parties

Legis Music reserves the right to suspend or revoke access if the license is used in violation of these terms.



12. License Expiry or Termination

If your license expires or is cancelled:

• You may not download new music
• You may not publish new projects using Legis Music

Previously published projects remain protected as outlined in Section 3.



13. Limitation of Liability

Legis Music makes reasonable efforts to ensure all tracks are properly licensed and available for use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legis Music shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the music.



14. Changes To This License

Legis Music may update this License from time to time.

Updates will not retroactively affect properly licensed and published projects created under previous valid terms.



15. Acceptance

By downloading or using Legis Music tracks, you confirm that you understand and agree to this License Agreement.
