End User Terms and Conditions – Legis Music

Effective Date: 11 February 2026

These Terms govern your purchase of licences and your use of the Legis Music platform. Your use of Sound Recordings is governed by the Legis Music Creator Licence Agreement, which forms part of these Terms.

2. Licence Options

You may purchase:

• Annual Licence – $89 per year
• Single Track Licence – $39 per track

There is no free plan or trial.

Licence rights and permitted uses are governed by the Legis Music Creator Licence Agreement.



3. Account Requirements

To purchase a licence, you must:

• Create an account
• Provide accurate billing information
• Verify your email address
• Keep your login credentials secure

You are responsible for all activity conducted under your account.



4. Formation of Contract

A binding contract is formed when:

• You place an order; and
• We issue a Confirmation Email

We may refuse orders due to payment failure, invalid information, pricing errors, legal restrictions, or suspected misuse.



5. Payment Terms

Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

We accept major debit and credit cards supported by Stripe. We do not accept PayPal, bank transfer, or cheque.

Payment is taken at the time the Confirmation Email is issued.

Prices include VAT where applicable.



6. Annual Licence

The Annual Licence:

• Provides access to download Sound Recordings
• Allows unlimited downloads during the 12-month term
• Renews automatically every 12 months unless cancelled

You may disable renewal at any time before the renewal date.

Refunds are not provided for unused time.



7. Single Track Licence

The Single Track Licence:

• Applies to one specific Sound Recording
• Is perpetual for that track
• Begins immediately upon download
• Is non-refundable once downloaded



8. Consumer Cancellation Rights

Under UK consumer law, you normally have 14 days to cancel digital content purchases.

However, once you begin downloading or accessing Sound Recordings, you waive this cancellation right.

If digital content is faulty, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, or refund in accordance with applicable law.



9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account:

• With reasonable notice for operational reasons
• Immediately for breach of these Terms
• Immediately for illegal activity or misuse

Termination does not affect rights granted under completed Projects as described in the Creator Licence Agreement.



10. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential losses
• Business interruption losses
• Losses not caused by us
• Losses that were not reasonably foreseeable

Our total liability is limited to the greater of:

• £100; or
• The amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.



11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, damage, or expense arising from:

• Misuse of Sound Recordings
• Breach of these Terms
• Unlawful use of the platform or content



12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.



13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
