Which option do we recommend?
It all depends on your budget and needs, but we found that Soundtrack Your Brand offers the best value for money
Soundtrack is one of the references in the business streaming music industry. In fact, it is the solution used by companies such as TAG Heuer, McDonald’s or IKEA.
Some users have referred to this platform as Spotify for Business. However, Soundtrack Your Brand has nothing to do with Spotify. The only thing that unites them is that Spotify is an investment partner of Soundtrack Your Brand but their services and coverage are not totally different.
The service offers 58+ million tracks and a wide variety of playlists, always updating the music that is reproduced with the aim of not saturating either customers or employees.
Soundtrack Your Brand offers an online music playback platform that you can manage with any Windows, Mac, Android or iPhone device, licensed for commercial and public venues.
And also you will be able to enjoy the following advantages:
- They provide their service in all countries around the world.

- You can schedule your music weekly to set up the right mood for any day.
- You can ‘drag and drop’ any Spotify playlists.
- They let you try the service for 14 days for free with no commitment, cancel online at any time. No credit card required.
WHAT’S THEIR PRICE?
For Soundtrack Your Brand, the price to enjoy all these facilities is always fixed and independent of the square meters of the premises and is $35 per month -for the USA and Canada-. If your business is located in another country, check their pricing page to know what would be the cost.
They also offer a free 14 day trial period so you can verify their excellent performance without any compromise.

An alternative to Soundtrack Your Brand
Soundsuit is a newcomer in the streaming music industry. Their innovative “Digital Music Assistant” has already seduced many innovative brands like Fitbox, Design Hotels, Nestlé or Audi, but also thousands of small independent businesses.
Their service was designed to simplify the life of business owners. In contrast to other B2B music services, it does not provide a never-ending list of playlists, genres and artists. It does for you the selection, scheduling and updating of your playlists.

The Soundsuit app is a Smart Assistant. It first asks you who you are: your business type (café, fashion store, spa, etc.), your brand positioning (mainstream, trendy, etc.), your customer target group (age, style, etc.), and your mood preferences. And you are basically done!
Soundsuit is global and fast-growing:
- Licensed in all countries around the world (BMI-ASCAP, GEMA, SACEM, PRS-PPL, etc.).
- They create for you one personalized music channel, engineered to fit your business, brand, customers, and mood preferences.
- Each time you like or skip a song, or adjust the mood, Soundsuit learns more about your preferences and refines the personal music channel of your store.
- They have a super easy-to-use app, both web and mobile.
- They are a certified partner of Sonos, and are then available on all Sonos devices and apps.
- Your personalized music playlist is updated daily. Neither your employees nor your customers will get bored by the same rotating music!
- They let you try the service for 30 days for free. No credit card, no obligation to purchase.
Their price is always fixed and independent of the square meters of your business and is $24.95 per month – for the USA and Canada. All the BMI-ASCAP or SOCAN copyright fees are included in the price, so that you get full peace of mind as a business owner. If your business is located in another country, check their pricing page to know what would be the cost.
They also offer a free one-month trial period so you can verify their excellent performance without any compromise.
Music for Business (B2B)
As you can see, there are many different services in every country and each one offers not only different music but many other additional options and gadgets, like creating playlists, having remote controls or even letting the same clients choose the next song through an app!
So, the best thing you can do is to spend some time learning about the features they offer and the prices they have.
As we saw at the beginning of the article, music plays an important -if not essential- role in your business or store and it’s worth to choose the best option for it.
If you have a restaurant, a retail store, an express store, a small business or an office you surely have other important things to take care of.
Let any of these services do the music work!

music for corporate videos.
Great article! Love how you offer a brief background on each company (any B2B relationship should truly be a partnership).
While this is a super comprehensive list, I was surprised that Mood Media is nowhere to be found on this list. They’ve been one of the industry leaders in business music solutions for decades – and they offer multiple music streaming solutions that are licensed and designed specifically for business use.
Hello Jeff!
Yes, it is added, is just that Mood Media is “inside” Pandora, because both companies partnered to offer the same solution :)
Have a great day!
Mood media is less than impressive. There are often 10+ second delays between songs, which feels like 10 minutes when you’re in a busy restaurant and all of a sudden its quiet because the music stops. Really kills the mood, no pun intended… We have Mood, running on a 200Mbit internet connection, but are looking to upgrade to a “smoother” music service.
Thanks for telling us that Scott! Good to know how the service feels from someone that is actually using it :)
We always recommend Soundtrack Your Brand, have you tried it?
Mood is terrible. They haven’t updated their apps in nearly 2 years—which crash without warning. We waited for over an hour on a technical support call, and the person that helped us said we were lucky—many customers wait on hold 4-6 HOURS. We ended up giving up and battling for a refund. Stay away!
We use mood media but I am looking for other options the interface is very difficult just to change music, if you have lets say a jazz playlist is playing whatever it wants and to get technical support takes forever and when you get it they are not much help you have to figured things out and since you are running a bussiness you dont have time for that BS. At least that is our experince
Interesting list, especially for internationally, I thought that the companies that appear to be American operated everywhere.
I’m just curious that SoundMachine is not there though. We’ve been using it in our steakhouse for some months now and we’re quite happy with it!
Added Sound Machine to the list Rob. Thanks for the tip!
Are there any services that allow the users to select particular artists/songs rather than curated playlists?
Hi Michael! Usually these services use royalty-free music for their radio stations, this means that you will not find famous or well-known artists there. That’s why most of them give the opportunity to select only radios. To select particular artists or songs, you can try for example ‘Rockbot’ or ‘Heartbeats International’.
Pablo, thank You for such an informative article! It is really comprehensive. But why did You ignore Russia, for examppe?? There are also strong providers of music for business. For example, Market Music. It worths to be noticed. Believe me?
Thank you Sandra!
I’ve been taking a deep look at their website and is not very comprehensive, nor do they share openly the prices of their service, that’s why for the moment I’m not going to add them to our list.
But stays here in the comments if someone wants to try: https://market-music.com/
Thanks!
Hi Pablo, thanks as well for the overview! We have been doing some research as well for the German market (thus stumbled across your article) and are currently testing Storemoods (https://www.storemoods.com). They even allow you to upload your own adverts and have them play automatically between the tracks – based on weather for example. So, ice cream adverts at your location only when it’s sunny and at least 20°C. :D
Thank you Ingo!
Storemoods then for whoever who needs a German solution ;)
Best regards,
We too had Mood Media and were very displeased. Thought it was too expensive for one and yes customer service really sucked. Cancelled it about 3 months ago but really want to get some music in this restaurant. Am not very savvy when it comes to this kind of stuff as far as hooking anything up. Speakers are in the ceiling and connection is in the office. What is the best way to go in your opinion? What kinds of equipment would I need, etc… I am currently looking at Cloud Cover, Rockbot, Jukeboxy, and Brandtrack for options.
Thanks for your time.
Hi Cindy! We think Cloud Cover and Soundtrack Your Brand are the best options available nowadays. As for the sound system, we wrote a detailed guide here: https://legismusic.com/how-to-properly-install-a-commercial-sound-system/ I hope it helps!
