Where can I use the music?

  • Mostly in personal projects and all social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, LinkedIn… while crediting legismusic.com in every publication.
  • In any website, while adding a link to ours.
  • Not on Youtube, for that you must purchase the ‘Personal Plan‘.

Can I use the music if I don't give credit?

  • No, if you cannot link or promote us in any way, then the best option for you is to choose our ‘Personal Plan‘. Don’t worry, you might even prefer that in the long term!

Why you're asking for a link in exchange?

  • It is just another way to promote Legis Music: the viewers of your content will know that they can find a solution here. So, we give you background music for free and you send us people that might be interested in our services. It’s a win-win.

Will I receive a copyright claim in the future?

  • Never. We are very careful about providing the best possible service to all our customers (even if they use our music for free) so you can be at peace and focus on your projects.

Where can I use the music with this Plan?

  • In all personal projects and all social media and streaming platforms that exist.
  • On Youtube.
  • In apps, videogames and audiobooks, no matter how.
  • In podcasts or any website.
  • In virtual classes and online courses.

How many songs do you have?

  • We just started offering music in 2023 and currently have +150 songs, but we are adding more monthly. Our goal is to have at least a thousand by the end of the year.

Do you have SFX as well?

  • Not for the moment, but if enough people ask us for that, we’ll work hard to add it as well. You can also find free sound effects here.

Can I get a refund if I'm not convinced?

  • Yes, we can refund purchases made within the first 14 days, provided you haven’t published any video with our music. Please refer to our License Terms for details.

What I can't do with this Plan?

  • Mostly you can’t use it for client’s work -if you’re a freelancer or a company-, online ads or TV, Cinema and Radio. For that, you should acquire the Business Plan, which has every single use case covered.

Do I have to credit Legis Music?

  • No, with this license you just download the music and use it however you want, without any need to credit or mention us in any way.

Will Youtube send me a warning for using this music?

  • No, all the music we provide is licensed so you will not have any problem using it in your videos and you don’t have to worry about the Content ID or any other warning. You don’t need also to clear any channel, just use it with total freedom! We own all economic rights connected to our music.

Is the payment secure?

  • Yes, we use Stripe for payments, wich is the standard nowadays for the Internet. We do not store any of your credit card information.

Where can I use the music with this Plan?

  • Mostly anywhere that you can think about. We want to give you total freedom and not to worry about terms or anything else. But it’s perfect for clients’ work, online advertising, TV, Radio and Cinema. The only things you can’t do is re-sell it.

What payment methods do you accept?

  • For the moment, you can only pay by credit/debit card, but if you want us to add more payment options let us know here and we’ll offer them soon as well. We use Stripe for secure payments.

Will Youtube send my clients a warning for using this music?

  • No, your clients will never receive a copyright claim in the future and they can use it whenever they want. This license is for life, it doesn’t have an expiration date. And you can have as many clients using it as you want.

Is this music available as a streaming option?

  • If you’re looking for streaming background music for stores or physical locations, then our recommendation is to use Cloud Cover Music if you’re in the US or Canada or Soundtrack Your Brand, if you’re located in Europe or the rest of the world.

Can I really use it in big movies or documentaries?

  • Yes! However you want, doesn’t matter where or the size of your audience. We built this platform in order to give our clients the broadest and easiest license that exists. But if you use it on a movie or documentary, let us know so we can see it! :)

Will this license expire at any point?

  • No. This is a lifetime license, just pay once and you will have access to our music forever, plus all the new additions that we will make over time. It is our way to say thanks for being one of our first customers.
