These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Tunecutter Limited (trading as Legis Music) for the purchase and use of music licences. By purchasing any licence from our platform, you agree to be bound by all provisions contained herein.
You may purchase one of the following:
Annual Licence priced at $89, or
Single Track Licence priced at $39 per track.
There is no free plan, no freemium tier and no trial option.
You should read these terms carefully. If you do not agree, you must not purchase or use any Sound Recording.

Definitions
For clarity, the following definitions apply:
“Sound Recording” means any audio recording we make available through our website, supplied in WAV or MP3 format.
“Annual Licence” means a licence granting access to download and use Sound Recordings for a period of 12 months.
“Single Track Licence” means a perpetual licence granted for the use of one specific Sound Recording.
“Licence” means any licence purchased by you under these terms.
“Website” means www.legismusic.com.
“Confirmation Email” means the written confirmation we send acknowledging your purchase.
“Project” means an audio visual work or production created by you that incorporates Sound Recordings.
Consumer Rights Summary
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 apply.
You normally have 14 days to cancel digital content, but this right is lost once you begin downloading. Once you access a Sound Recording, you cannot cancel.
If content is faulty, you may be entitled to repair, replacement or refund.
Privacy
Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You must ensure all details you provide are accurate and up to date.
Account Creation
To purchase any licence, you must:
create an account,
provide accurate personal and billing information,
verify your email address,
keep your login credentials secure.
You remain responsible for any activity conducted under your account.
Formation of Contract
A binding contract is formed when:
You place an order; and
We send you a Confirmation Email.
We may refuse orders for:
payment failure,
invalid information,
pricing errors,
legal restrictions,
suspected misuse.
Technical Requirements
You must have:
broadband or stable internet access,
sufficient device storage,
software capable of opening WAV or MP3 formats.
We are not responsible if your device cannot use the Sound Recordings.
Annual Licence
The Annual Licence provides:
access to our catalogue,
unlimited downloads for 12 months,
automatic renewal every 12 months,
licence rights described in section 13.
By accessing Sound Recordings, you waive the right to cancel.
You may disable renewal at any time in your account settings.
Refunds are not provided for unused time.
Single Track Licence
The Single Track Licence:
is priced at $39 per track,
begins immediately upon download,
is perpetual for the specific Sound Recording,
cannot be refunded once downloaded.
Automatic Renewal Terms
For Annual Licences:
renewal occurs every 12 months unless disabled,
the renewal fee will be charged automatically via Stripe,
failure to update payment details may result in suspension.
You may disable renewal at any time before the renewal date.
Our Right to Suspend or Terminate
We may suspend or terminate your access:
with two weeks’ notice for convenience,
immediately for breach of these terms,
immediately for illegal activity,
immediately for misuse of Sound Recordings.
If terminated, you must delete all Sound Recordings unless specifically permitted under your licence for completed Projects.
Licence Grant
You are granted a limited, non exclusive, non transferable licence to use Sound Recordings subject to these terms.
You may:
incorporate Sound Recordings into audio visual Projects,
distribute Projects commercially,
monetise content on video platforms,
use Sound Recordings in client work.
You may not:
claim ownership of Sound Recordings,
redistribute files in standalone form,
upload Sound Recordings to streaming platforms such as Spotify or Apple Music,
submit Sound Recordings to Content ID or fingerprinting systems,
use Sound Recordings in any defamatory, illegal or harmful content,
use Sound Recordings to create music albums, playlists or standalone listening products,
resell Sound Recordings or sub licence them.
Ownership of the Sound Recordings remains with us or our licensors.
If a Sound Recording is found to infringe third party rights, we may require you to stop using it immediately.
Downloading Sound Recordings
Downloads become available immediately upon the Confirmation Email.
We may update or remove Sound Recordings at any time.
We are not responsible for external events affecting download availability.
Fees and Payment
Prices:
Annual Licence: $89 per year,
Single Track Licence: $39 per track.
All payments are processed via Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards supported by Stripe. We do not accept PayPal, cash, bank transfer or cheque.
Payment is taken when the Confirmation Email is issued.
Prices include VAT where applicable.
Nature of Digital Content
Sound Recordings are provided as described. Minor errors or bugs may exist. Compatibility with your software is not guaranteed.
Faulty Content
If a Sound Recording is faulty, we will repair or replace it. If this is not possible, you may be entitled to a refund.
You must:
notify us promptly,
provide evidence of the fault,
use compatible software.
Ending the Contract
Ending the contract does not affect any money owed.
Refunds are not provided for:
unused portions of an Annual Licence,
downloaded Single Track Licences.
Upon ending the contract, you must cease using and delete all Sound Recordings unless explicitly permitted for completed Projects.
Your Warranties
You warrant that:
you are at least 18 years old,
all information provided is accurate,
you will not share your account,
you will not register Sound Recordings with collecting societies,
you will comply with all laws and these terms.
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for:
indirect or consequential losses,
business losses,
losses not caused by us,
losses that were not foreseeable.
Our total liability is capped at the greater of:
£100, or
the amount paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss, damage or expense arising from:
misuse of Sound Recordings,
breach of these terms,
unlawful use of Sound Recordings.
Assignment
We may transfer our rights and obligations under this contract without your consent. You may not transfer your rights without our written permission.
Changes to These Terms
We may amend these terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Third Party Rights
No third party has any right to enforce any part of this contract.
Governing Law and Disputes
This contract is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
